Haven’t been here for a while, before we had takeout but this time sat in, good choices on the menu, we had the medium cod, chips, peas & bread n butter as a meal deal. Good size portion, freshly cooked, very tasty, not greasy & not to much batter, good value, clean n tidy restaurant, very friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

We have been eating from here for many years and it’s Some of the best fish and chips in town. The service is very good with everything made fresh, and lovely people serving.

Popped in randomly on a week night when they were due to close soon. Have been disappointed with many local chippies but couldn’t complain about Bell Lane Fryer. Cheesy chips were lovely and actually cheesy! Generous portion of cod and had lovely batter. Sausages and fishcakes were nice. Friendly smiley staff. Prices weren’t too bad. Would get takeaway again!
